At the commencement of the rental period, all renter’s must be aged 21 and over for standard vehicles, whilst for trucks and buses the renter must be 25 and over. Please note than an age surcharge is applicable to renters aged between 21 and 24.
Myaree Car Hire recognises all current Australian driver’s licenses and current overseas licenses, International driver’s licenses to be accompanied by country of origin – original driver’s license and valid passport. The required driver’s license must be in English with photo and produced at the commencement of the rental. Should the license be in another language or have no photo, an International Driving Permit must be accompanied with it. Any vehicle that holds more than 12 people requires an LR License.
No, there are no additional driver charges. All driver’s must be present at the rental counter at the time of collection. We’ll then apply your details to the rental.
All our vehicles are not to leave Western Australia, Any vehicles going past a 900klm radius from Perth, will need to arrange before booking vehicle, the remote surcharge fee is $77.00.
Seats cannot be removed from a Minivan/People-mover/Bus or any other vehicle.

Most major credit cards are accepted. (Amex and Diners will incur a 5% Surcharge)
If using a Debit card , you must pay for the hire plus $500.00 Deposit.
No, unfortunately we cannot accept EFTPOS cards.
Rental companies need to know that their renter’s are credit worthy to minimise vehicle damage and losses. Credit cards and valid driver’s licenses usually provide the only information we have about our renter’s.
Our rental rates are based on a 24 hour clock, if vehicles go over time they will be charged out (5 hours will automatically go into another days hire, eg 3 hours late will be 3/5th of the daily rate). Trucks – Early morning pickup Mon-Fri 8am, Sat 7am & Sun 7.30am must be returned by next morning Mon-Fri 7.30am, Sat 6.30am & Sun 7am.
We give the vehicle to you full of fuel, you return the vehicle full with a receipt (except when advised differently by our staff). Trucks shall be refueled at our depot on return, normal pump prices are charged (ie. no additional fee).
A Security Bond is a pre-authorisation to your credit card that is used as a form of protection by Myaree Car Hire whilst you are renting a vehicle.

The Vehicle Registration Recovery Fee (VRRF) is a surcharge to recover the cost of registering a rental vehicle. The VRRF applies to ALL vehicles.
Excess Reduction coverage and rates will vary depending on the type of the vehicle rented and the age of the driver’s renting.
If you choose not to purchase Excess Reduction then you will be liable for the full cost of the excess that is applicable on your rental.

Vehicles can be picked up from Skypark Valet Parking, this service must be pre-arranged 48 hours notice with Myaree Car Hire staff. Airport pickups and drop offs incur a $45 charge each way. This service is only for customer’s flying in or out of Perth Domestic or International Terminals. For more information see our Airport Services and Procedures.
